I've lived in Bangor for almost 20 years and have never gone to or saw much of anybody ever frequenting the old Bono pizza on 191. When Emmelianos took over the place recently, I took notice of the new signage and figured why not give it a shot. Its hard to find great pizza around these parts so I had zero expectations. My wife got chicken korma and I got cheese steak Stromboli. Both worlds of Indian and Italian done really well. The dough on Stromboli was crispy with a nice chewy texture that is lighter and less dense than other pizza restaurants. The ends of it had filling right up to seam. It's fun to have 2 menus--everyone can find something they like for game night or take-out family dinner night!!

Great pizza and even better pricing. I liked the Mozzarella sticks too, they have a super cool shape and very crispy they were my favorite part. Will order again
